At the very outset, I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate you all for seeking admission to our B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. courses. Pharmacy is far more than just a profession; it's a discipline that intertwines cutting-edge research, meticulous care, and the noble pursuit of healing. In this realm, molecules become messengers of hope, and pharmacists stand as guardians of both the art and science of medicine. As stewards of health, pharmacists are entrusted with a profound responsibility to ensure that each medication is not just a remedy but a promise of a better tomorrow. Here at NCPS, we not only aim to produce pharmacists but also to mold ideal pharmacy professionals who can meet the needs of society and the challenges the profession holds. The institute has a glorious standing of 4 years and continues to evolve as the most reputed pharmacy college in the state of Assam, having the best instrumental facilities in north-east India. The college has an excellent infrastructure with a sophisticated and ambient research atmosphere of international standards and highly qualified and dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to providing an outstanding educational experience to the students. The faculty members contribute substantially to the academia through quality teaching and publications and established themselves as a center of excellence in pharmaceutical sciences in north-east India and provide a multidisciplinary, excellence-multifaceted curriculum involving the study of the discovery of new drug molecules to its evaluation, development, and approval for human consumption, manufacturing, and every other important aspect. NCPS cultivates and encourages out-of-the-box thinking necessary for success in the profession and patronizes the students to acquire strong scholastic ability, integrate diverse perspectives and approaches with real-world applications, and become future pioneers in the profession of pharmacy.

As a result, it has emerged as the world's third-largest producer of drugs in terms of volume. This rapid growth in the pharmaceutical sector is creating thousands of job opportunities every year. Our college provides value-based quality education, produces professionally competent students for a career in pharmacy, and raises quality-trained manpower to meet the requirements of national and international industry.
